Access your data
ācta is in beta. This guide will change as the product changes.
This page lists the ways to get your records out of ācta and explains how long ācta keeps them. It also names the features that ācta plans to add.
What works today
- Sealed PDF: on the Document tab of an approved session, select Download PDF.
- Bulk PDF: on a meeting, select approved sessions or select Select All, then select Download Minutes. One session downloads a PDF. Several sessions download a ZIP file.
- Register PDF: on the Register page, select Preview PDF, then select Download.
- Audit report: on an audit, select Export Report to download a JSON file.
- Auditor links: an audit gives an external reviewer read and verify access. The page Run an audit explains how.
Limitation
ācta has no full-workspace export and no CSV export.
Data retention
Your organization decides how long ācta keeps its data. One retention policy applies to the whole organization, so every workspace follows the same rules.
- You set a retention period for each type of data, such as meeting audio, transcripts, and minutes.
- Until you set a period, ācta keeps your data.
- When a period ends, ācta deletes that data and records the deletion in the audit trail.
- The deletion of audio does not change your approved minutes or their hashes.
Note
Your duty to keep records
Laws, bylaws, and contracts can require you to keep minutes and other records for a set time. You are responsible for a retention policy that meets those duties. ācta deletes data when the period that you set ends, and a deletion cannot be undone.
Planned
ācta plans more ways to get your data out. These notes show the direction only.
Planned
Offline audit package
ācta plans one ZIP file for each audit, with the minutes PDFs, the certificates, the chain of custody, and a checksum manifest.
Planned
API and AI agent access
ācta plans a scoped API and an MCP server, so that the AI agents of a customer can read the records of that customer with permission.
